Our story
Built in Australia. Born out of fire and flood.
The idea behind Amplireach first germinated following the fires in Australia in 2019 after observing the challenges faced by people trying to find information published by government, utility and community groups across the country.
While the emergency services in each state had communications systems in place, important information such as road closures, weather, utility outages, local council and community support announcements was spread all over social and traditional media.
Additionally, information was fragmented along state and other jusrisdictional boundaries, causing more issues along border zones.
There was no single verified up-to-date source people could go to find the information they needed for a particular topic or location. Let alone having it pushed proactively to them in the form of alerts.
This need was reinforced through the pandemic, the floods, civil unrest, rains, severe storms and all the other massive socially disruptive events in the subsequent years.
Upon researching, we discovered that this problem exists globally.
